Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the mobile game Hydro Loops: Water Ring Toss (“the Game”) and the website hydroloops.com (“the Site”), operated by [Company name] (“we”, “us”).
By installing or using the Game you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Game.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the Game on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
You may not: copy, distribute or resell the Game; reverse-engineer, decompile or modify it except where local law expressly allows it; use cheats, bots, modified clients or automation; or submit scores that were not produced by playing the Game as intended.
2. Accounts
The Game creates an anonymous account on first launch so your scores can be recorded. You may optionally sign in with Google or Apple to carry your progress to another device. You are responsible for keeping access to that account; we cannot restore progress tied to an account you can no longer sign in to.
3. Leaderboards and fair play
Leaderboards exist to compare players fairly. We may remove scores, aliases, groups or accounts that are the result of manipulation, that use offensive or infringing names, or that otherwise break these terms. Aliases are public - do not use one that reveals personal information about you or anyone else.
Weekly boards reset every Monday at 00:00 UTC. We may adjust scoring, board structure or reset schedules as the Game develops.
4. Purchases
The Game is free to download. Optional in-app purchases are sold and processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store under their terms; refunds are handled by them under their own policies. Purchases unlock features on the account you were signed in to at the time.
Purchased content is a licence to use in-game features, not ownership of property, and has no value outside the Game.
5. Advertising
The Game may offer optional rewarded ads and show ads between rounds. Ads are never shown during a round. An ad-free upgrade may be available as an in-app purchase.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the Game and its online services running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Services may be suspended for maintenance, and we may discontinue online features with reasonable notice.
7. Intellectual property
The Game, its artwork, sounds, code and the Hydro Loops name remain our property or that of our licensors. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you.
8. Liability
The Game is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury or fraud. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Game at any time and delete your account (see Account deletion). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms.
10. Apple App Store
Where you obtained the Game from the Apple App Store: these terms are between you and us, not Apple; Apple has no obligation to provide support or handle claims relating to the Game; and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on any US Government restricted-parties list. Your use must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms of Service.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [country], without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always published here with its date. Continuing to use the Game after a change means you accept the updated terms.
